Need Poster Ideas for History?

i have to do a poster for history class and i need some good ideas for it, i have to show 3 different civilizations in a chart form type thing, and i want a clever way to do it, please help

Have the background look like its aged maybe brownish yellow looking. You could do like a pie chart and have the sections be three equal sizes like a peace sign... make it dark black so they can tell that that's what it is. Make sure, however, that the civilizations were not at war with each other. Then draw a house representing what housing they lived in, a person, and some random objects that represent each civilization. Have a border around your poster to make it stand out. Also do not forget to label the civilizations by putting the name of it around the outside of the section it is.

If your having to do an oral presentation leave the background blank as to not take away from it. Make the teacher/audience think you didnt do it but then have the pieces that go on it in your hand. As you talk about each part of the civilization you could either tape or use velcro to stick the pieces up. You want the audience to be interested in it.

If neither one of these ideas work for you then have it like all three civilizations have been introduced and now are in one community. Have the people you draw from each be together "talking", the housing be grouped together, and maybe some of the items be grouped together. Make it look like everything belongs where it is even though they are very different.
